Michigan St. lost one important member of its bench during the second half of the Spartans’ first-round NCAA Tournament win against USC on Friday.
During a timeout, after a « heated conversation with the official, » Spartans head coach Tom Izzo proceeded to obliterate a whiteboard used for drawing up plays, snapping the piece in half using only his hands. Izzo was reportedly also frustrated with the team’s three-point defense against the Trojans.
