John Wall last made the NBA All-Star Game in 2018 as a member of the Washington Wizards. In the four seasons since then, he’s appeared in just 72 games. He’s played in only 40 games for the Houston Rockets, which acquired Wall nearly two years ago in exchange for Russell Westbrook. Clearly, things have not gone to plan for Wall in Houston, but it appears he will soon be able to take his talents elsewhere. A recent report states that the Rockets and Wall are gaining momentum for a « breakup, » either in the form of a trade or, the most likely outcome, a buyout. When Wall last played, he showed he’s still capable of performing at an all-star level, averaging more than 20 PPG and nearly seven assists for the Rockets. If and when a move does happen, Wall still figures to have a fair amount of suitors, especially if he comes cheap. Stay tuned.
