« Outstanding – nine debutants today and they all got on the paddock, » Waratahs captain Piper Duck said.

In Nadi, the Fijiana Drua made Super W history with a tense 12-7 win over the ACT Brumbies.
It was the first Super W game to be played in Fiji after the Drua won the competition in their first season, playing out of Australia in 2022.
Drua captain Bitila Tawake said the game « created history for women in rugby. »
« There was a lot of pressure. In the first 30 minutes the Brumbies gave us a tough time but we got two tries and the girls kept it together. »
