Panthers Paul Momirovski joins Sydney Roosters on three-year deal

1 min read

Panthers centre Paul Momirovski will change NRL clubs for the fifth time in as many years after reportedly signing on with the Roosters on a three-year deal.

The Sydney Morning Herald is reporting Momirovski, despite being under contract for one more season at Penrith, will put pen to paper on a three-year deal worth in excess of $300,000 per season.

It’s understood the final year of Momirovski’s Panthers contract was worth close to $200,000.

The report claims that after the 25-year-old’s agent recently approached the club for permission to negotiate with rivals, Penrith said it wouldn’t stand in the centre’s way if a lucrative offer presented itself.

The Warriors, Sharks and Sea Eagles were also said to have shown interest before the premiership winner opted to return to the club where he made his NRL debut in 2018.
