NFL Week 6 Weather Updates: Wind in forecast for several games, including Cardinals-Browns, could affect fantasy start ’em, sit ’em decisions

2 min read

First, the good news: There isn’t much rain in the Week 6 NFL weather forecast. Now, the bad: A good chunk of games figure to see winds of 10-plus mph. Back to the good: It likely won’t affect many fantasy start ’em, sit ’em decisions outside of players in the Cardinals-Browns and maybe the Chargers-Ravens game. With the help of RotoGrinders’ meteorologist Kevin Roth, we go over the weather updates you need to know before finalizing your lineups.

Before we get into the Week 6 forecasts, here’s a reminder that if you have any questions about sports weather or how weather could impact play (and, potentially, your fantasy, DFS, and gambling decisions), don’t hesitate to reach out to RotoGrinders’ meteorologist Kevin Roth on Twitter (@KevinRothWx) or check out the hourly NFL weather forecasts on RotoGrinders. Chargers @ Ravens. This game could see somewhat similar conditions to the Cardinals-Browns game, but sustained winds don’t figure to be quite as strong. There’s no reason to bench Lamar Jackson, Justin Herbert, Keenan Allen, Mark Andrews, Marquise Brown, or Mike Williams (if healthy). The kickers present a little more risk, but it’s tough to ever bench Justin Tucker.

All of these games figure to have sustained winds around 10-12 mph. Certain games might be a little gustier — and there’s a small chance of rain for the Dolphins-Jaguars in the UK — but there’s no real reason to worry about any of the players from a fantasy perspective.

All of this is subject to change as we get closer to kickoff. You can follow meteorologist Kevin Roth on Twitter (@KevinRothWx) and check out the hourly NFL weather forecasts on RotoGrinders. For the best weather-related fantasy advice, take a look at WeatherEdge.
