Alyssa Healy posts half century as Sydney Sixers beat Melbourne Stars

Elyse Villani was unbeaten on 54 off 31 and Meg Lanning 23 off 17, as the Stars lost just one wicket on their way to posting 99 to chase.

But despite losing opening partner Shafali Verma, as well as Ashleigh Gardner

cheaply, Healy held her nerve before eventually being dismissed for 57 off 27 deliveries with the Sixers sitting at 3-89.

Fellow Aussie star Ellyse Perry went in the next over to put the Sixers at 4-95 with eight balls remaining, but Nicole Bolton and Angela Reakes calmly steered them to the finish line in the final over.

The Sixers reached the target with four balls to spare.
