Throughout the 2021 NFL season, Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger has been a shell of his former self, leading to speculation that this could be his last season in the NFL. Big Ben hasn’t made any type of formal decision, but a report from last week states that the QB will indeed hang ’em up at season’s end. For Roethlisberger, the announcement is the culmination of a first-ballot Hall of Fame career. For the Steelers, it means they will have to find a new starting signal-caller for the first time in nearly two decades.
