Saints signing five-time pro-bowl WR Jarvis Landry
1 min readLast season, the 29-year-old Landry played 12 games for the Browns, finishing with 52 catches, averaging 11 yards per reception, for 570 yards and two touchdowns.
The veteran wideout’s spot with the Browns vanished after Cleveland acquired Amari Cooper from the Dallas Cowboys. The Browns attempted to trade Landry, but a deal never materialized; Cleveland released Landry in March.
Landry was a second-round pick by the Miami Dolphins in 2014, playing 64 career games for the franchise. He finished with 400 receptions for 4,038 yards and 22 touchdowns in four seasons in Miami. Ahead of the 2018 season, he was traded to Cleveland for fourth and seventh-round picks before agreeing to a five-year, $75.5 million contract with the Browns.
Landry spent four seasons in Cleveland, playing in 59 games, finishing with 288 receptions for 3,560 yards and 15 touchdowns.
In eight seasons in the NFL, Landry has compiled 688 receptions, averaging 11 yards per catch, for 7,598 yards and 37 receiving touchdowns.
