WBBL07 Finals Series: When is it, who is playing, how to watch, format, schedule, venues

This year’s Women’s Big Bash finals are set to begin on Wednesday night, with four teams remaining in the hunt to be crowned champions.

WBBL|07 began in mid-October, with eight teams vying to win the title, and it has come down to Perth Scorchers, Melbourne Renegades, Brisbane Heat and Adelaide Strikers.

Both Sydney teams failed to make the finals and finished in 7th and 8th spot respectively, with the Scorchers earning a bye to the final after finishing in top spot.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of WBBL|07 finals series.

WHEN DO WBBL|07 FINALS START?

This year’s WBBL Finals begin on Wednesday 24th November. 

The first game will be an elimination clash between the Strikers and Heat, with the winner backing up on Thursday night.

The final will take place on Saturday, 27th November.

WHO IS PLAYING IN WBBL|07 FINALS?

Four teams are left in the hunt for the WBBL title this year – Perth Scorchers, Melbourne Renegades, Brisbane Heat and Adelaide Strikers. 

Scorchers have already qualified for Saturday night’s final after finishing 1st, while the Renegades earned a bye and will face the winner of Strikers and Heat on Thursday. 

Thunder, Sixers, Stars and Hurricanes all missed out on contention for the finals. 

HOW TO WATCH WBBL|07 FINALS

All matches of the WBBL|07 finals series will be broadcast live on  Fox Cricket  and  Kayo Sports.

7Mate  will also broadcast the first two finals games, with the final to be broadcast live on  Channel 7. 

WHERE ARE WBBL|07 FINALS BEING HELD?

The first two finals games will be held at Adelaide Oval, before the final at Optus Stadium, Perth on Saturday night.
