For the fifth consecutive year, Coritiba ends the Brasileirão fighting against relegation

O Coritiba ended its participation in the season with a defeat of 2 to 0 against the black Bridgein Campinas and closed its participation in the Brasileirão 2020 in 15th place with 46 points, outside the Copa Sudamericana group.

Another season in which the Coxa-Branca fan wants to forget. It has been five years since Verdão enters the national competition and the maximum goal he can achieve is not to fall for Serie B. In the 2020 Brazilian Championship, the alviverde team had only 40% success, with 11 wins in 38 games disputed. Throughout the competition there were three changes of coaches, and only three rounds in the top ten.

Needing to give an answer to the fan after again failing in the Paranaense Championship, in which he lost in both games to rival Atlético-PR (3 to 0 and 2 to 0), staying with the runner-up, Coritiba, trained by Gilson Kleina, started the competition well by staying in the middle of the table.
