On Wednesday afternoon (7), the Foz Falls debuted in Women's Libertadores in the opponents' house, in the Charrua Stadium, in Montevideo, against Nacional Uruguay, and won by the score of 3 to 1.

The first game of the day between Generaciones Palmirana (COL) and San Martín (BOL) ended in a 1-1 draw. Foz is first in Group B and returns to the field on Saturday (10) against San Martin.

Foz starts better and opens the score early on

In the first minute, Foz Cataratas had a good chance in the free kick, Maressa charged well, but goalkeeper Migdiel saved well. At five minutes, Camila did not forgive the failure of the goalkeeper after Paulinha's cross and Maressa's attempt on the rebound, the number seven sent to the back of the net.

Foz was better at the start, taking the initiatives and had the best opportunities. On the other hand, goalkeeper Jessica did little work. After 15 ′, the game was truncated, with strong scoring from both teams.

The Powers followed better, with more possession of the ball and more presence in the attack. Nacional could not play and tried to compensate in the race, with little success.

Foz retreats, takes the goal, but recovers in the end

Nacional came back with more desire, after four minutes, Jessica worked for the first time in a beautiful defense. The housewives went upstairs and Foz retreated a lot compared to the first half.

The defense also worked a lot, and the goalkeeper had to be more attentive in the first twenty minutes than he was in the first stage. At 19 ′, Foz had a good chance in the free kick, Driely took the free kick. At 24 ′, Paulinha dropped Nicole in the area and the referee scored, Federica charged and tied the match.

After the goal, coach Gezi put the team back on to score more, to go in search of the second goal. At 33 ′, Camila was knocked down in the area, the Venezuelan referee scored a penalty that Verônica hit, the goalkeeper hit the corner, but did not stop the defender from putting Foz in front again.

The third goal came at 45 ′. Danyelle sent the ball weak, but enough to swing the net.
