The young player, only 19 years old, was diagnosed with a brain tumor, where 70% had already been removed in surgery done in the last few days, however, the athlete must still go through sections of chemotherapy and radiotherapy, and Avaí has been giving all support throughout treatment.

At the end of the duel, the coach Claudinei Oliveira praised the action of the fans. ”We beat the club , the club, the club's action, the president, the marketing people, everyone.
