With guaranteed access, Avaí ties with Brasil de Pelotas in Ressacada

In a party rhythm for the access to Serie A won a round in advance, the Hawaii received this afternoon (26) the Brazil-RS, and ended up staying in a draw with the gaucho team, in Florianópolis (SC). The duel was played at the Ressacada Stadium, which was attended by more than 15 thousand fans, the largest audience of the Santa Catarina team in the year as principal. With the result, Leão da Ilha ended its participation in this Series B of the Brazilian Championship in second place with 66 points.

The goals of the game came in the complementary stage. At 6 minutes, Ramon opened the scoring for the visiting team, while Romulus scored for Avaí at 18.

Game busy, but score remained unchanged

With greater possession of the ball in the opening moments of the game, Avaí took a while to scare Brazil-RS. Only in the 14th minute, the Santa Catarina team arrived with danger to the good plot of Diego Jardel and João Filipe, the midfielder made the cross, William adjusted for Marquinhos in the small area, but the half ended up being disarmed at the time of the finish.

The visiting team, which had a good presence of its fans in Floripa, left nothing to be desired and responded with Nathan. On 16 minutes, the striker released the shot from inside the area, but sent it over the back line. A little later, at 21, Renan fell well to save Avaí. Nathan again appeared and kicked hard, to the great defense of the goalkeeper of the Lion of the Island.

Xavante didn't care about the Ava party and kept pressing. At 36 minutes, at the cross in the area, Felipe Garcia headed firmly and almost opened the scoring. Seeing the opponent playing better, Avaí went up and almost scored before the break. Diego Jardel pulled the counterattack and launched for Capa, the full-back sent the ball into the box and Leandro Leite propped up, almost scoring against the own goal, lucky the defender of Brasil-RS that the ball went out, that at 40 of the first stage.

Leão concedes the goal, but Rômulo soon ties

On the return to the second half, Avaí gave way to Brasil-RS to create plays and at 6 minutes, the gaucho team opened the scoring in Ressacada. Marlon received on the left and made the cross in the area, the ball went through Nathan and it was left for Ramon to send to the nets, scoring the first goal of the match.

Coach Claudinei Oliveira, one of those responsible for Avaí's access to the first division, changed the team to try to match the score. Rômulo took William's place and shortly afterwards scored the equalizer. At 18 minutes, in the rehearsed play, Marquinhos took the corner kick, and in the ball lifted in the area, Diego Jardel got it wrong and Rômulo took advantage of the surplus and scored the goal that left everything the same in the duel again.

On minute 26, Diego Jardel almost turned the game over to the Lion. The midfielder dropped the bomb from the area entrance and sent it in the corner, but Eduardo Martini made a good save. The avaiana party, which was already big, got even bigger with the entry of the Japanese Toshi, who replaced Marquinhos at 28 and still got the captain's belt.
