Athletic-PR secures Corinthians and is nearing the strike in the Liberators

Directly disputing a spot in the Libertadores da América 2017, Corinthians e Athletic-PR faced and tied without goals at the Corinthians Arena, in São Paulo, on Saturday night (26), at 21h, in a duel valid for the penultimate round of the Brazilian Serie A Championship. With the tie, Rubro-negro has 56 points, in 5th place. Alvinegro paulista remains in 7th position with 55 points.

In the last round, played on Sunday (04), at 5 pm, Furacão receives Flamengo at Arena da Baixada. Timão travels to Belo Horizonte to face Cruzeiro in Mineirão. Depending only on you, Atlético just beat Flamengo to win the place in the Libertadores.

Quite offensive, Corinthians stopped in the good Atleticana defense.
