Marcílio Dias faces Porto amid changes in command

With virtually no chance of qualifying for the elite of Santa Catarina in 2017, the Marcílio Dias closes the round away from home against Porto this Monday (17th) at 18h. The confrontation valid for the 5th round of the Second Catarinense Marcílio is worth trying to fix the repeated mistakes of the last games.
In the first round, the match against Porto marked the first Marcilian victory in the competition (5-0 at Dr. Hercílio Luz), the team's exit from the lantern and the start of a sprint that gave hope to the fans. But the production of the Itajaí team fell again and now the team's ambition is to finish in the best possible position.
Busy week behind the scenes with new board
The Marcilist week was marked by exits in the presidency and technical committee. The club's deliberative council held elections that culminated in the change of the presidency of Marcílio Dias. Now the club president is Lucas Brunet, with Mauro Pereira in the vice-presidency. The elected were installed this Sunday (16).
Another change was the departure of Mauro Ovelha team command. The coach commanded rubro-indigo in ten matches, with four wins, three draws and three defeats. With the departure of Mauro Ovelha, the interim Tavinho resume the team until the end of the competition. Tavinho commanded the Sailor in the 3rd round of the first round after José Macena left and gave way to Ovelha from the 4th round.
