Vandinho scores twice, Operário wins Foz and goes to the final of the FPF Cup

This Sunday morning (25), factory worker e Foz do Iguaçu played at the Germano Kruger Stadium, in Ponta Grossa, in a match valid for the semifinals of FPF Cupand Fantasma won by 2-0, two goals from Vandinho, qualifying for the final. The opponent in the decision will be Andraus, who passed through Apucarana.

Goalkeeper Edson shines and first half ends 0-0

The game started open, both teams arrived in the attack in the first ten minutes, despite not getting any clear chance of goal. After ten, Foz started to play a little better, with more presence in his field. At 17 ′, the Operator arrived in danger for the first time. Edson made two great saves in the shots of Dione and Vandinho.

At 20 ′, Edson defended again in another shot by Vandinho, when the Ghost woke up for the game. The striker also had a chance two minutes later, when he sent him out. The Operário kept coming with danger, with Foz responding a few times, but the first half ended goalless.

The Operator started the second half well. Vandinho, who had wasted some chances in the first stage, received close to the area and crossed, the ball deflected in Barreto and tricked goalkeeper Edson, scoring the first goal of the game.

At 15 ′, João Guilherme almost equalized, sending the ball out, but close to the crossbar, when Foz went up to try to get the result. Azulão had good chances and found the Phantom closed in his defense field. At 44 ′, goalkeeper Edson broke and Vandinho took the opportunity to expand and close 2-0 for Operário, who qualified in the final.
