Foz receives Operário and tries to open an advantage in the semifinal

Packed after eliminating Grêmio Maringá with two victories in the quarterfinals, the Foz do Iguaçu Futebol Clube now hopes to repeat the feat against the Railway Worker. This Sunday (18), at 3 pm, at the ABC Stadium, the two teams make the first leg of the semifinals of the U-23 FPF Cup. The game has the look of a rematch for Foz, since in the first phase the border team was defeated by Fantasma by 3 to 1, in Ponta Grossa.

The coach Ivan Carlos Alves has no absences, either due to injury or suspension, and goes with the full team. A similar situation exists for the Operário, who qualified directly for the semifinal, for having made the best campaign in the first phase and, therefore, not having an opponent in the quarterfinals, since the competition had only seven teams.

Foz's board of directors expects the stadium to be packed with fans to encourage Boundary Bluebird in search of the positive result. For that, he put tickets on sale at the price of R $ 10, the same price as the half-price, for all fans. "The time has come to show the strength of our fans and fill the ABC", projects the club president, Arif Osman.

In the first phase, Foz had four draws and two defeats, and advanced in fifth place to the quarterfinals.
