Andraus, Apucarana, Foz do Iguaçu and Operário make the FPF Cup semifinal

The semifinalists of the 2020 Paraná Federation Football Cup (FPF Cup), were defined last weekend. Four teams will compete in the third phase of the competition, which rewards the champion with a spot in Series D of the Brazilian Championship 2017.

Grêmio Maringá 1×2 Foz do Iguaçu

Serving punishment for loss of command, Grêmio Maringá played against Foz do Iguaçu at the Vitorino Gonçalves Dias Stadium, in Londrina. After being beaten 4-0 at the border, Rooster Warrior needed to return the score to at least take the decision to penalties.

Alvinegro even started better, in the 16th minute of the first half, Felipe Leitão opened the scoring for GEM. But, before the end of the first half, Juninho tied the match for Azulão da Fronteira. In the 14th minute of the second half, Juninho scored Foz's second goal and turned the score to Foz.

Paranavaí 0x3 Apucarana Sports

After winning the first game 2-0, Apucarana Sports went to the Northwest of the State to face the ACP at the Waldemiro Wagner Stadium, in Paranavaí. The Vermelhinho to be at a disadvantage went over the Dragon and, because of that, opened the defensive sector and the visitors took the opportunity to win by 3 to 0, all the goals scored by striker Diego.

Andraus 4×0 Portuguese London

The surprise of this edition of the FPF Cup is the Gigante da Pedreira, again the team from Campo Largo thrashed Lusinha by 4-0 playing at the Coronel Emilio Gomes Stadium, in Irati. Barbosa opened the scoring at 13 'of the first half, six minutes later Hudson extended the result. In the second half, Mateus, at 33 ', and Alberto, at 37', defined the game's score.
