Foz do Iguaçu and Andraus thrash, Apuracana wins by FPF Cup

The first games of the quarterfinals of the Federation Cup of Paraná 2020 (FPF Cup), took place last weekend, with two matches on Saturday (3) and one on Sunday (4).

O factory worker, already guaranteed in the semifinal of the competition, awaits the definition of the other teams that will rank among the top four in the competition.

Foz do Iguaçu 4 x 0 Grêmio Maringá

Playing at Estádio ABC, Foz do Iguaçu hosted Grêmio Maringá, on Saturday (3). Azulão da Fronteira was unaware of Alvinegro Maringaense and with eight minutes of play João Guilherme scored the first goal. The goals reappeared only in the second half, at 9 ′ Alan James extended the score. At 17 ′, Matheus Olavo scored the third and at 37 ′, Gian Luca gave final numbers to the confrontation. 4-0 for Foz, which was very close to the semifinal.

Apucarana Sports 2 x 0 Paranavaí

In the other game on Saturday, Apucarana Sports faced Paranavaí, at Estádio Olímpio Barreto, in Apucarana. Dragão beat Vermelhinho by 2 to 0, with goals scored in the first half by Ítalo, in a shot from outside the area, on 26 minutes, and with Diego, after pressing the ball out, on 41. The result makes that the Apucarana team has the advantage of being able to lose by up to one goal difference to Paranavaí.

Portuguese London 0 x 4 Andraus

The only match that took place on Sunday (4), was between Portuguesa Londrinense and Andraus. The Gigante da Pedreira didn't take notice of Lusinha and thrashed 4 to 0. The goals were scored by Morais, Marco, Flávio and Emerson.
