The 2020 season is over for the Sudden last Saturday (31), when it was eliminated in the second phase of the Brazilian Championship from Serie D for São Bento-SP. With the guaranteed spot in the national competition next year, Bruscão also has the dispute for the Santa Catarina Championship. In order not to lose important names of the team this year, the board has even announced some contract renewals.
“Within our financial and structural reality, the year of Brusque was fantastic. We had a great time in Santa Catarina, we advanced in an unprecedented way to the second phase of a national competition and today we are a club with a defined calendar. We also advanced a lot off the field ”, said Danilo Rezini, licensed president of Brusque.

Ten players are already confirmed for 2017, they are: Aélson (left-back), Alexandre Carvalho (right-back / defender), Marcelo Tchê (right-back), Cleyton (defender), Negueti (defender), Carlos Alberto (defender), Mineiro (defender), Eliomar (attacking midfielder), Paulinho (attacking midfielder) and Tony (striker). If on the one hand the fan knows who will be for the state championship, on the other hand some names did not follow the club. Among them is goalkeeper Zé Carlos, who arrived to dispute the Brasileirão and with good performances convinced the fans and the board, but is going to São Paulo, where he signed a pre-contract with Santo André-SP. “Zé has already practically come with a signed contract, with a value well above our reality. But we continue to negotiate with other athletes so that we have this strong base next year ”, declared the president.

In the reserve bank, Mauro Ovelha, what this week Marcílio Dias took over in Segundona Catarinense, he is interested in running Brusque in 2017, just as the board also has the coach. “Mauro's work, in general, was very good, and there is this interest initially on both sides”, revealed the leader who still finished: “Everyone knows that Brusque's difficulties are tremendous, but we will continue to work to always have a competitive club. We feel fulfilled to see Brusque taking the name of our city abroad, generating pride and entertainment for our fans and all Brusquenses in general ”.
