For the 4th round of Brazilian Championship from Serie D, or Maringa received the Metropolitan, at Willie Davids Stadium, looking to win to continue fighting for one of the competition's spots. However, even playing at home, Zebra ended up drawing by the score of 2 to 2. The goals of Tricolor were Vinicius and Rone Dias, at the end of the match. Ricardo Lima and Radsley did for Metro.

The draw was not good for both teams that continue with 4 points in the group, third being Verdão do Vale and fourth to Zebra. In the next round of the A17 group, the fifth of the competition starts next Saturday (9), at 15:00, when the Metropolitano goes to the interior of São Paulo to face Ituano. On Sunday (10), Maringá faces at the Estádio Centenário, the Caxias team, in Caxias do Sul, at 16:30.

Metro is better and takes advantage on the scoreboard

The confrontation at the Willie Davids Stadium had a very busy start for the teams, creating chances for a goal. On 2 minutes, Di María took advantage of the defensive defense of Maringá and kicked in the area, the ball passed with danger to Jeferson's goal. Zebra responded with two attacks to the goal, but without danger the defense of Metro.
With the teams looking for the goal at all times, the score didn't take long to open. At 10 minutes, Di María crossed and Ricardo Lima only completed, making 1 to 0 for the Metropolitano. The goal changed the panorama of the Maringa team that, under pressure, missed many passes, so much so that Tricolor only had a good chance again after 26 minutes, when Andrezinho made a good individual move and kicked hard for good defense from archer Dida.

With the favorable result, Verdão do Vale continued to control the actions of the confrontation, not abdicating the attack. At 36 minutes, Bruno Santos received and crossed, forcing the goalkeeper of Maringá to make great defense. Zebra still had at the end of the first half, the chance of a draw: in the 44th minute, after a corner kick, Lucas Silva headed the goal, but defender Juninho took it over the line, saving the Metro team. Finally, the score was 1 to 0.

Maringá seeks a tie at the end

The second stage started very busy, as it happened in the first half. With a daring change, Maringá put a midfielder (except for a defender) to go looking for a draw. However, it was Metro that almost extended the marker. On 7 minutes, Ricardo Lima headed Jeferson to make a great save. At 12 minutes, Rone Dias kicked the goal of the Metro goalkeeper with great danger, and almost tied the score.

From insisting so much, Maringá finally got the tie. At 18 minutes Rone Dias kicks, the goalkeeper flatters, in the rebound Vinicius kicks firmly and ties the match, 1 to 1. The goal ignited Zebra who almost reached the turn two minutes later with the same Vinícius who took advantage of Neilson's shot and kicked with great danger to Dida's goal.
It seemed that Tricolor would win, but the team was careless in defense and Metro took advantage. On 25 minutes, Radsley on the counterattack received, advanced and touched the goalkeeper's exit, making it 2 to 1. The goal practically discouraged the Maringá team, who could no longer create chances to match the match, while Verdão do Vale, satisfied with the score, he managed the confrontation.

The game was over when Rone Dias in the 44th minute hit a beautiful shot from outside the area, and equalized the score in 2 to 2, giving hope of turning the crowd. Even with pressure already on the additions, the result was even in the tie.
