Colorado seeks stay in Terceira

This is the image of the document filed by Colorado at the FPF.

O Colorado Athletic Clube filed last Monday (14), at the Paraná Football Federation (FPF), a document stating that the team did not give up the 2015 Paranaense Third Division Championship. The team's director, Émerson de Lima Moraes, stated in a special interview for the Field Writing that, "despite the financial difficulties that the teams of Terceirona face, Colorado intends to guarantee the permanence in the championship, mainly for the closed commitments with the athletes".

According to Moraes, the difficulties of the teams that dispute the championship are great. “The teams from Terceira (division of Campeonato Paranaense) almost all have no sponsor. It is very difficult to get someone who wants to bet on a team from Terceira. Everything we do there (in Colorado) is out of our own pocket, so we had several problems with athlete documentation, with the new CBF (Brazilian Football Confederation) system ”.

Émerson argues that the Paraná Football Federation (FPF) canceled the match against Cambé, due to the fact that the team did not bear the arbitration fees. Even with the attempt to postpone the payment of the arbitration fee, the FPF did not accept the proposal and, therefore, the publication of the Until n ° 66/2015, the entity's Presidency.

The Paraná Football Federation, through its press office, informs that this decision is final, since the entity complied with the regulation after the club did not bear the expenses of the arbitration fee, and the arbitration cannot be escalated to the next match.

Colorado will file a writ of mandamus to try to stay in competition, in order to honor the contracts signed with the athletes.
