With three expulsions and a goal in the last minutes, Pato wins and demotes Batel

This Saturday (2) the White duck received the Batel for the last round of the 1st phase of Second Paranaense, in a decisive match for the visiting team, which struggled to escape relegation and stay between the G8. With a busy game, three expulsions in the second stage and a goal in the last minutes of the match, Pato Branco overcame Batel by 1 to 0, demoting the visiting team, which ends the competition with just one point.

In the next phase, it kills kills, Pato Branco faces Toledo playing the first game at home in Os Pioneiros.

Chances for both sides but no goal

Needing the victory to remain in the dispute, Batel came with a more offensive team and already attacked early in the match. The first half was a good chance for both teams, which had spaces to attack and made the game busy. In the last minute of the first stage, the player had another chance, dribbling a defender and stopping in the hands of the goalkeeper of Batel, thus ending the first half.

Three sent off and goal in the last minutes decide the match

Following the rhythm of the first half, the complementary stage started busy and with chances for both teams. At 7 ’Paulo Cesar tried to cover up the goalkeeper and sent the ball over the goal. Six minutes later, Lineker appeared again and Pato had one of the best chances in the game. The player blew a ball on the post and the rebound was left on Bazuca's foot, who straightened and hit the goal, for the chest defense of goalkeeper Robson.

Batel's situation was getting worse with every minute of the game that passed without the goal so important to the team. At 32 'it only got worse, with Valdir, who was the last man, knocking Lineker down towards the goal, being expelled and leaving the visiting team with one less player. Four minutes later there was confusion on the field, with Murilo attacking player Paulo César do Pato Branco, causing turmoil among the players, with Marcato also joining the fight. As a result, Murilo received the second yellow card and was sent off, leaving Batel with 9 players. On the side of Pato Branco, Marcato was also sent off.
