Prudentópolis and Nacional waste chances and end tied

Beginning the second round of the Tournament of Death, the Prudentópolis received the National that Sunday afternoon, needing more than ever to win to stay alive in the competition. Being ahead on the scoreboard twice, the hosts were unable to hold the result and were held 2-2 by NAC.
With this result, Prude's life becomes even more complicated, occupying the last position. Nacional has the same score as runner-up Rio Branco, only behind goal difference.
In the next round, Prudentópolis will host Atlético Paranaense, at 6:30 pm on Sunday (26). On the same day, Nacional receives Rio Branco at 4pm.
Prude takes the lead, but Nac equalizes
The match started lukewarm, with Prudentópolis looking for space to attack and reach the goal, needing the victory to stay alive in the competition, but Nacional invested in defense and did not let the opponent arrive. Working the ball in the midfield with ease, the visiting team held the tie and involved Prude in that game. The owners of the house, even with difficulties to reach the attack, were superior and at 28 'they startled for the first time, arriving with speed, but being stopped with a foul in front of the area.
At 33 'the net swung for the first time at the Newton Agibert Stadium. Lucas made a beautiful shot for Luizinho, who appeared behind the back to receive and left for Serjão just to push inside the goal, pasting Prudentópolis in front. With the goal, Nacional got out of their comfort zone with a draw and went on the attack, managing to equalize everything again five minutes later. When the interval came back, the panorama was the same as in the first half, with Prudentópolis going after the goal and Nacional managing the tie. At 21 ’Prude managed to startle by blowing up a ball on the post, and at 25’ he regained his advantage on the scoreboard. Wellignton took advantage of a rebound from a previous move and hit the goal low, scoring the second of the hosts.
Nacional started to press, looking for a tie again, just like in the first stage. Losing good chances and involving Prude in the game, at 39 'the second goal came, after a free kick in the head of Tcharlles, who pushed to the back of the net, leveling the score and ending the game with a draw.
